About our Nursery

At St Mary’s, we create a caring and welcoming space for children starting their education. Our nursery helps children grow with joy and confidence in a supportive community. We focus on care, respect, and ambition so every child can thrive, discover new things, and feel they belong. 

Our nursery is term-time only, with holiday clubs and wrap-around care available to support your family all year round. We also offer flexible care options, including 15 and 30 hours fully funded places. 

At St Mary’s nursery, your child will:

• Develop a love for learning through play, creativity, and hands-on exploration, both indoors and outdoors.

A typical day is filled with enriching and fun activities like: 

• Morning fun: story time, songs, and group discussions to encourage communication and listening skills. 
• Creative play: arts, crafts, and imaginative role-play to inspire self-expression and confidence. 
• Outdoor adventures: nature walks, physical play, and gardening activities that spark curiosity and active learning. 
• Exploration time: opportunities to learn about the world through sensory play and themed activities.
